How to reset password on a Night Owl DVR / NVR The Night Owl password reset procedure works for these models (not all models are listed): So, follow the steps below to reset the password for your Night Owl recorder (DVR or NVR). The recordings will not be erased by this procedure. The method shown here works for most of the DVRs or NVRs manufactured by Night Owl, however if your recorder is too old (like more then 7 years old), then it won’t work.
